Unibody construction

A vehicle architecture in which the body and frame are a single integrated structure. Unibody vehicles are lighter and more rigid than body-on-frame designs, making them better suited to on-road use and fuel efficiency.

Sedan

The traditional three-box sedan — engine up front, passengers in the middle, trunk at the rear — remains the structural baseline against which other body styles are measured.
